Care and Handling

Soil: The plant prefers light (sandy), medium (loamy) and heavy (clay) soils and requires well-drained soil. The plant prefers acid, neutral and basic (alkaline) soils. and can grow in very alkaline soils.

Amount of water: Occasional , once established

Nutrition: high nitrogen fertilizer from start of growth in spring until mid -summer

Special handling: Foliage may cause skin irritation. It cannot grow in the shade. It requires dry or moist soil.
